A&E Networks, the company behind the cable channels Lifetime, History, FYI, amongst others, are making a change to the programming they provide on H2 (channel 758) and rebranding the channel as VICELAND.
Fans of popular H2 shows such as Ancient Aliens, Modern Marvels, America Unearthed, and Monster Quest can rest easy, however. These shows as well as other popular H2 series will now be moving to History!
As part of our celebration of all things Academy Awards, we’ve collected 44 of your favorite Oscar winners and made them available via C Spire Video On Demand. Over the coming days, we’ll provide a rundown of each and every one of the films we’re featuring this year.
In this post, we take a look at twelve Oscar winning films from the mid from 2011 through 2013 that span genres, launched careers and solidified several actors’ position as Hollywood elite. This visually stunning batch of films includes Daniel Day-Lewis and his portrayal of the 16th U.S. President in Lincoln, George Clooney and Sandra Bullock take us into space in Gravity, Chiwetel Ejiofor depicts a free black man kidnapped and sold into slavery in 12 Years a Slave, and Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey take on the DEA in Dallas Buyers Club.
