C Spire’s What’s Hot app is an amazing way to find out what other people in your area are watching on their C Spire Super HD™ TV service!
In this post, we take a look at how to access the What’s Hot app using your remote control.
No one likes missing out on the latest and greatest entertainment. And with so many TV & Video choices to select from, it can often be hard to find something compelling to watch.
Enter the C Spire What’s Hot app. This app that lives in your Set Top Box (STB) is a fantastic way to find out what the hottest shows, recordings and TV series are in your specific viewing area.
How to Access the C Spire What’s Hot App
To access the C Spire What’s Hot App on your TV press the following button pattern on your remote.
Menu > TV > What’s Hot
Navigating the C Spire What’s Hot App
Once you’ve brought up the C Spire What’s Hot App, you’ll notice a new translucent pane over the right 1/4 portion of your TV screen. This is the C Spire What’s Hot App interface.
There are three panes on this menu:
- Recordings
- TV
- Series
To navigate between the panes, use the left and right keypad.
Each pane lists the most popular recordings, TV shows, and TV series respectively for your geographic area in real time! For example, in the image above, we see that the most popular TV Shows in this TV’s area are:
- America’s Newsroom
- CBS This Morning
- Today
- Good Morning America
- Etc.
The popularity of an item is represented by the number of People Icons attached to each entry.
Use the Up and Down keys on your remote to move up and down the interface. When you’ve found a show you want to watch click to OK button at the center of the keypad to begin watching a show at its current point.
PRO TIP: For those channels / shows with a Green Restart TV icon, you have the additional option of starting that show from its beginning by clicking the green button on your remote.
