In this post, we walk through the steps you need to take to set up a Parental Controls PIN on your C Spire Set Top Box (STB).

At the heart of the C Spire Parental Controls system is the Parental Controls PIN. This four (4) digit PIN number is used to gain access to settings, shows, movies, and channels that have been locked down.

Setting up your Parental Controls PIN is easy. Follow these steps to set up your Parental Controls PIN.

1. Using your C Spire Remote Control, navigate using the following buttons: MENU > SETTINGS > PARENTAL > Change Pin
2. Click OK. This brings up the Change Pin screen.
3. Under the Ratings PIN section, enter your Old PIN (by default this is 0 0 0 0)
4. Enter in your New PIN
5. Re-Enter your New PIN
