In this post, we take a look at four (4) strategies you can employ to help curb the seemingly never ending onslaught from the telemarketing hordes.
Stop Annoying Telemarketers
1) Get a Non-Listed Number
For an additional small monthly fee, C Spire can ensure that your C Spire Home Phone number remain non-listed. This means it will no longer appear in the phone book.

2) Get On The Mississippi NoCall List
In 2003 the Mississippi legislature passed a law that created a statewide No Call List. This law prohibits companies from attempting to sell consumer goods and services from calling telephone numbers that appear on the No Call List.
To add your C Spire home phone number to this list, head on over to the Mississipp Public Service Commission website and sign-up. There is no charge to be added to this list.
3) Get a Non-Published Number
For an additional small monthly fee, C Spire can ensure that your C Spire Home Phone number remain non-published. This means it will not be available to directory assistance (411) nor will it be printed in the phone book.

4) Get on the National Do Not Call Registry
The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at the Do Not Call Registry website.
To add your C Spire home phone number (or your mobile phone number), simply head on over to the Do Not Call Registry website and register your phone number. There is no charge to add your number to the registry.
